Ready to move-in?Don't get too much excited

It's your first time to own a condo unit and it's understandable that you're excited to move-in. Independence, you finally tell yourself. But before you started packing your clothes and call your friends to help you bring your stuff to your new unit, don't forget to keep in mind these four simple and practical tips for a hassle-free “permanent transfer of residence.”

1.Settle your dues first. Developers require owners to pay the necessary charges before they transfer, so make sure to settle the required move-in charges. The move-in charges cover the activation fees for water, electricity, and phone lines so you can use these services readily. Plus, it's less hassle on your part since you don't need to personally apply for these services since your developer will do it for you.

2.Go on an ocular inspection. Weeks or days before you move-in, it's highly suggested to do a last-minute inspection of your unit. Are there cracks on the walls or ceilings? Are the sockets properly installed? Are the faucets and shower running? Check your unit to make sure that it's 100% safe to live.

Seeing your almost finished house also gives you an idea of what furnishings you still need for your home. Surveying your condo's vicinity is also important especially if you're new to the place. Familiarize yourself with important landmarks nearby such as malls, schools, and churches. Learn how to navigate your way from your new location to your office or shopping mall as early as possible.

3.Drop by the admin office. During your ocular inspection, don't forget to visit the admin office to make some clarifications or queries regarding the important house rules that's being implemented. Are pets allowed in the building?is there a curfew?are guests allowed? Knowing the rules ahead of time saves you from getting into trouble in the future.

4.Choose wisely. The idea of condo-living is all about minimalism. Do you really need that 12-seater dining set in your 1-BR unit or is it better to buy a sofa bed for your studio-type unit? Choose slim furniture so your place won't look cluttered and suffocating to live. Bring only the necessary and important things that you need, otherwise leave them behind or give them to your relatives. Better yet, hold a garage sale to get rid and earn money out of them.

Live your dream at Manhattan Heights Tower C

Life is about challenges. From the moment you step out of the house, getting to your destination is already a test of patience especially during rush hour. Finding the best buys at great deals during a midnight sale at the mall is quite tough also because you’re competing with many “experts”. Outscoring your buddy over a basketball shootout in an arcade is a challenge, especially if he’s part of the varsity team.  These simple challenges make life more exciting and push you to be always on top of your game.
But the bigger and more serious challenge that awaits each is the fulfillment of their dream of a better life with a stable and good paying job in a multi-national company, a beautiful and loving family, and a house that speaks well of one’s success.
The Manhattan Heights, the third phase of the 18-tower Manhattan Garden City project, is your newest city address at the more progressive Araneta Center.  Its premiere location---being near several malls, restaurants, leisure centers, churches, schools, and even workplace---gives you freedom to choose your own adventure for the day.
At the very heart of the Manhattan Heights project is the soon-to-rise Manhattan Heights Tower C, the last residential tower to be built under this phase. In here, the only challenge you have to deal with is the new life that awaits you.

Waking up each new day with a view of the entire 35-hectare land area of the Araneta Center, you’re at the best place at Manhattan Heights Tower C. The 729-meter garden walkway is your gateway to accessing over a hundred establishments found in the area like Gateway Mall, Farmers Plaza, Ali Mall, Shopwise, and SM where you can do your weekly groceries, shop to your heart’s content, dine and drink till the wee hours, or catch a Friday night movie.  But if these establishments seem far for you or if you’re looking for some alternative buys or services, downstairs is a retails arcade that you can explore.
The garden walkway also links you to all other 18 towers of the Manhattan Garden City project, the Smart-Araneta Center Coliseum, and the MRT-3 and LRT-2 lines, making your travel around the Metro shorter than the usual. But if you’re bound to Bicol or Ilocos Norte, the Araneta Center Bus Terninal is just outside your residence.
The newest tower is about convenient living, providing direct access to both residential and amenity areas. The main entrance of all four towers under this phase is located at Tower C’s lobby area, so residents can directly go to their units from the ground level or at the common amenity area where the swimming and kiddie pool, fitness gym, and all other amenities can be found at the fourth floor. Car owners have their own space at the two-level residential parking.
At Manhattan Heights Tower C, live your life according to your dream: challenging yet fun and fulfilling. Visit www.themanhattangardencity.com or email inquire@themanhattangardencity.com for further info. or simply call 810-3333. Get your own unit today and don’t miss the special price offering of all Tower C units starting today until Feb. 15 only.

Your 2012 Resolution: Come home early to your family at MGC

Life in the Metro is fast-moving except for the horrible traffic especially along EDSA that could delay your travel time to work for minutes. Light rail transit systems remain the fastest, easiest, and cheapest way to reach your destination---whether your workplace, school, or mall--- anywhere in Metro Manila.

The Araneta Center property remains as the center of Quezon City where business, leisure, and major transportation converge in this 35-hectare commercial property. As a commuter-friendly hub, it houses bus terminals bound for different parts of the country like Bicol, Samar, and Iloilo. But if you want to avoid being stuck in the city traffic jam, there's the LRT-2 and MRT links that could lessen your travel time as you move around the city and would help you get home just in time for dinner or a Friday night movie with your family.

Manhattan Garden City (MGC) is the country's first garden-inspired development that sits on a 5.7 hectare property within Araneta Center, giving you access on several restaurants, shopping centers, groceries, and entertainment centers right at your doorstep.
Cubao's future: The 18-tower project of Manhattan
Garden City.
It's the only residential tower that has a 729-meter elevated garden walkway that connects the 18 towers to transit systems for easier mobility within the Metro. So whether you're working in Makati or Ortigas area, getting there on time is no problem at all since MGC has direct access on MRT line while the LRT-2 line assures you that your child can still make it to her 7am class even if her school is in U-belt area. From the usual one hour travel time by bus or car, transit system could trim it down to just half an hour or even less.

Aside from its prime location, MGC also boasts of more than 20 amenities located at the fourth-level podium deck.Conscious figure? There's a paved jogging trail which is perfect for an early morning jogging session and in the evening, head to the gym or fitness station to tone your muscles and body. Basketball and tennis courts and a 20-meter lap pool are also available if you want more strenuous physical activities. Family bonding is best spent at the picnic area or beside one of the three pools. There's also a children's play area where your kids can run and interact freely with other children their age.
Manhattan Heights Tower is expected to be
turned over starting 2012 for towers A and in
2015 for towers B and D
